The first BnBers arrived and went and have left a glowing review in Italian, it can be read on the airbnb website.
Sharon came to stay last weekend and we went over to Whitbarrow Scar to explore the parts I had not seen with Viv. It was a fine cold day but not as clear as it had been earlier, and not as much snow on the mountains.
A long time ago Sharon used to help out in the Liverpool shop and later her daughter Anna became a stalwart in Christmas treasure Hunts.
On Sunday we explored Arnside Knott, the weather had changed and a bitter wind drove freezing sleet in from the Bay. An exceptionally high tide blocked the way back along the coast and as we did not want to wade we got stuck looking for a path in the woods and eventually blocked by back garden fences we had double back and join the road.
I think I have mentioned that Andrew, who once worked in Atticus Lancaster was going to give a talk on The Trolley Problem in the shop.
A date has been set and it promises to be a really enjoyable evening.
