The New Station.
I left early to get the first train to Tenom via Beaufort and as this is the only train that makes the connection I wanted to get to the station in plenty of time. There was no problem in booking a taxi and finding the railway station on GPS. The only thing was that GPS led us to an empty building site under a concrete flyover, and the taxi driver had no idea where the station was. This would have been understandable if it had been the old tumble down, half forgotten station but this is the big new prestige station. Though no one seems to have put up any signs to point it out. So it was rather like a London cabby having to stop and ask, How do I get to Euston?'
