Good news everyone! I may be leaving the country. It is still only a possibility, though the chances look good, and I don't want to go into detail.
Instead I give this picture clue. Scarreee or whaaat?! As the kids say. Or probably don't any more.

I hadn't finished writing about the film or your blog but had to get away from a blasted pop up mobile advert.

By "common cause" I suppose I mean some sort of attempt to believe that there are enough other people who want our well being while fairly naturally caring about their own (and yes even prioritising their own mostly but that usually includes people they care for.) and it is true that solitude is not the same as loneliness . t is also true that one person can look at an old man or woman carrying a tin of beans to a small flat and think Oh God

And another think "mmm.... Yummy , Heinz!" Furthermore , brilliant though she was , wasn't Anne Sexton also madly depressive? or am I mixing her up with someone else? Anyway I am stopping here because I am overlooking the fact that this is a blog , not a personal letter.

I AM GIVING UP ON THIS BECAUSE HALF OF WHAT I SAID HAS BEEN EATEN OR PUT SOME WHERE WHERE I CAN'T SEE IT,LIKE IN THE OLD DAYS OF EMAIL. I HAVE BEEN WRITING FOR AN HOUR AND MOST OF WHAT I SAID IS LOST . THIS PROBABLY NOT A BAD THING EXCEPT IT LEAVES JUST WHAT SEEMS A NEGATIVE VIEW OF THE BLOG. NOT AT ALL WHAT I INTENDED. ONE OF THE THINGS I SAID WAS THAT WE SHOULDN'T FORGET THAT ANE SEXTON WAS MADLY DEPRESSED MOST OF THE TIME.

Interesting clue to your destination. The image is familiar (merely familiar) and is perhaps on the cover of a book I know.

Please feel free to rant. There is nothing more cheering than someone else's depression.

It is not surprising that Elephant of the Celebes looked familiar, it used to be one of your favourite pictures.

I like the smell of the place. The odour.

Hmmm even here in India Sunday afternoon reminds me of Sunday afternoons when I was a child. Too still, a little bit mournful ,and here additionally , the water turned off and the electricity intermittent . Arnav and Diya are with me because I sent Ashwini and Zos off to have a day on their own something that I think only happens if I am here to suggest it. I am wondering if it's because the idea of time without the children being a sort of luxury is an English thing. e are going to have a Friday evening , not a Sunday , dinner: chips and eggs - the children remember how much they loved it last year.

Does the blog only allow pithyness? It cuts out after a paragraph of mine. The rest of you seem to manage continuous pages. Inotice most of my previous comments that I thought eaten have turned up. Is there great rejoicing out there ?It being Sunday afternoon, I am reminded of the bible , as you can see. Mournfulness could be a theme of the blog. Leave a Reply. |
