It is a very strange feeling to have found the book of dreams again and to relive the dream memories that are now all that remain in the long gaps between years.
The Bloody Knives
Four unruly children, largely disowned by their parents, are given over to the supervision of their feckless Uncle Bob who has little or no control over them. The decide that they should be a 'gang' like the Famous Five, Swallows and Amazons and the Lone Pine Club. Trying to decide on a name causes much argument. The Youngest (There are no names in the dream except for Uncle Bob) suggests The Bloody Nuisances, as that is what their Father calls them. The others tell him to shut up, but then one of the older ones cries, The Bloody Knives! and making a downwards stabbing motion And this is our sign!
Facing each other they all raise an arm and repeat the action, yelling, The Bloody Knives for ever!
The dream ends with the feeling that Uncle Bob is in for a hard time.
